Dog Therapy
Any dog may benefit from a Spinal Therapy or Shiatsu:

  • Perhaps those more commonly affected are working or performance dogs e.g. sheep dogs, police dogs, agility dogs, racing greyhounds or hunting breeds. Such dogs can suffer from the joint misalignments, soft tissue injuries, strains and trauma injuries.
  • However for pet dogs as common a pastime as wearing a collar can create problems - intense pulling or getting the collar caught in a fence can cause misalignments of the neck vertebrae.
  • Neck/ Shoulder/Back problems
  • Neck/ Shoulder/Back problems
  • Older dogs may suffer from Arthritic joints which can cause gait abnormalities and spinal pain due to this imbalance.
  • Over-weight or unfit dogs, are more likely to suffer from back problems, as his lack of muscle tone and skeletal frame will have the extra burden of weight to carry.
  • Reluctance to jump in or out of car.
  • Pain when lying down or getting back up
  • Struggling to reach down to food or water bowl
